Maria Henriquez

Undergraduate, Statistical Science

Due to my personal experience with injuries and ballet, I am currently interested in exploring data associated with sports medicine and general health. I strongly believe that machine learning and feature learning tools hold a strong potential in studying injury risk and forming injury prevention programs.

Outside of my studies, you may find me teaching dance classes in Chapel Hill, playing trombone with the Duke Jazz Ensemble, or taking Zumba classes at Wilson Gym. I also love watching films, stressing out over Duke Basketball, and journaling in my free time.
