Attending IEEE Engineering Medicine and Biology Society International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (hashtag#BHI2025) this week in Atlanta, Georgia?
Along with the previously announced "Tutorial on Patterns of Missingness in Wearables Data", members of the Duke BIG IDEAs Lab are also co-organizing a Special Session!
🗓️ Wednesday, October 29, 2025 | 10:00 AM
⌚ Topic: "Digital Biomarker Discovery Pipeline – Autonomic: integrating multimodal data into Autonomic Nervous System signal analysis"
🗣️ Speakers: Jessilyn Dunn, Md Mobashir Hasan Shandhi, Anita Shlesinger, Varun Mishra, Nil Gurel, Doug Bremner, Matthew S. Goodwin
💡 About the session: DBDP-Autonomic (DBDP-A) extends the open-source Digital Biomarker Discovery Pipeline (DBDP) ( 🔗 https://www.dbdp.org/) to support reproducible research on autonomic nervous system (ANS) signals from mobile and wearable technologies. We’ll discuss challenges in interpreting ANS data, integrating multimodal context, and disambiguating signals across stress, activity, and chronic conditions.
Join us for an interactive discussion advancing the future of digital biomarker discovery!
