About Me:

Jessica Guo is a medical student and mentee in the BIG IDEAs Lab at Duke University. She earned her B.A. from Middlebury College and is broadly interested in translational medicine. Jessica is currently working on a study to estimate blood glucose using wearables, with the broader goal of helping bridge scientific discovery and clinical application in meaningful, patient-centered ways.

Outside the lab, she enjoys running and reading, and can most often be found trying new food spots around Durham. Fun fact: she is learning to play the otamatone. Fueled by the oat milk shaken espresso from Starbucks, Jessica approaches research with both ambition and humor. She enjoys chocorooms (her favorite snack) and wants to go bungee jumping one day.
