About Me:
Bill Chen is a second-year PhD candidate in the BIG IDEAs Lab at Duke University. He earned his B.S. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from The Pennsylvania State University. He is interested in multi-modal modeling, data visualization, and applications in metabolic and mental health. His current projects include DiabetesWatch, AI-READI, LeMonAids, the Digital Biomarker Discovery Project (DBDP), and contributions to JupyterHealth, where he develops computational tools to translate complex physiological data into meaningful, individualized insights.
Outside of the lab, you might find him sitting next to his 1998 Young Chang piano, playing boardgames with friends, or eating a banana on the couch.
