Shreya Chindepalli Attending ISMB 2026 in Washington DC
We’re excited to share that our mentee, Shreya Chindepalli, is attending ISMB 2026 (34th Conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology) in Washington, DC – one of the world’s leading conferences in computational biology and bioinformatics.
On Sunday, July 12, Shreya will present both a flash talk and a poster titled “Hypothesis-Driven Analysis of Gut Microbiome in Subclinical Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease” at the ISMB Student Council Symposium. She will also present the same research as a poster at the ISMB Microbiome COSI, highlighting the broad interest in her work. Her research uses a hypothesis-driven approach to investigate associations between the gut microbiome and subclinical atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), advancing our understanding of how microbial communities may influence cardiovascular health.
Congratulations, Shreya! We’re proud to see your research featured across multiple ISMB events and look forward to hearing about your experience!
