Bill Chen Awarded NIH F31 Predoctoral Fellowship!

We are thrilled to congratulate our PhD student, Bill Chen, on receiving a Notice of Award for The National Institutes of Health F31 Predoctoral Fellowship!

This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to Bill’s hard work, scientific curiosity, and dedication to advancing precision health research.

Bill’s fellowship will support research exploring how data from wearable technologies and continuous glucose monitoring can help us better understand the diversity of prediabetes and improve how we identify individuals at risk for future cardiometabolic disease. By leveraging multimodal health data and advanced data science methods, this work aims to lay the foundation for more personalized approaches to prevention and early intervention.

The NIH F31 is a highly competitive award that recognizes promising predoctoral researchers and provides outstanding training opportunities for future scientific leaders.
