BIL Home and Inspired by CHIL 2026
Our team had a fantastic time representing the Duke BIG IDEAs Lab at Association for Health Learning and Inference CHIL 2026 in Seattle, connecting with researchers and clinicians working at the intersection of machine learning, health, and biomedicine.
It was exciting to see our lab’s work featured across multiple events throughout the conference:
~ Dr. Jessilyn Dunn delivered a keynote highlighting exciting opportunities and challenges at the intersection of AI and health, sparking inspiring conversations throughout the conference.
~ Leeor Hershkovich and Hayoung Jeong presented their research during the Doctoral Symposium Poster Session, engaging in thoughtful discussions and receiving valuable feedback from the CHIL community.
Beyond our presentations, CHIL 2026 was a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas, build new collaborations, and learn from the outstanding work being done across the field. We even got to meet up with some of Dr. Timothy Dunn’s PhD students, Brian Lerner and Pranav Manjunath, for the duration of the conference! We’re grateful to the organizers, speakers, and attendees for creating such an engaging and interdisciplinary community.
