Mengjie (Mandy) Xu

MS, Biostatistics

I am interested in technologies of data analysis, and I am excited to find that it is possible to apply statistical analysis methods to different areas, including my original research field – electronic engineering. It is very interesting that more and more healthcare institutions are making efforts to develop mobile apps, wearable biosensors and other small electronic devices for health status monitoring and prediction. With diverse background in material science, electronic engineering and biostatistics, it is an excellent chance for me to integrate my knowledge, view and solve problems better from a fresh perspective compared with others with one single background.
